Joanne Clark, Rn, BScN, CPN(C)
Joanne has worked for Victoria General Hospital within Island Health, for 14 years. She began her career as an LPN working on the orthopaedic surgical ward. Joanne went back to school in 2007 to obtain her bachelors degree in nursing and upon graduation in 2011 began working in the Operating Room, having completed her final practicum with the University of Victoria and Island Health collaborative training program. Over the last 8 years in the OR Joanne has worked as a general duty RN as well as covered in many leadership positions, most currently moving into the permanent role of Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), where she is responsible for helping to run and teach the collaborative training program she graduated from. In 2017 Joanne obtained her CPN(C) in Perioperative Nursing, and began working with the ORNAC standards committee in 2018.
